Road Science Trip

Parents from Saint Pius x school had offered to take us to Tamaki College for the Science roadshow. We had waited outside the Auditorium, until the Science roadshow staff were ready to take us in.

The Room 5 students and Room 7 students from Saint Pius x school, were participating in Tamaki College’s Science Roadshow. When we have arrived in the the auditorium we were seated, then the show started to begin. I was excited to see what they were going to do for us at the show. During the show I got more and more interested, I got interested when they had measured what equipment can suck up the most amount of water. When they let us go to any station I walked over to the ring whole. The ring whole was my favourite because it was challenging trying to get the ring over to the other side. The annoying thing that I hated was when the red light kept on flashing non stop.

When we had finished, we came back and settled for the last show. The Science Roadshow group said to us “ to never try this at home without a your mum, dad or supervisor ”. Their last experience was about volume and it was pretty interesting.

Holiday Writing - Rugby Game

Last Saturday, my league team, “Pakuranga Jaguars” was badly beaten by the “Otara Scorpion’s” team.  The most humiliating thing was that we got sassed at our own homeground.

When my team gathered in the changing room I felt worried because I knew that we were going to lose our game. Our coach was angus cause when we finish gathering he shouted to us “GET OUT”. When we were on the field we were practicing our actions. Then the coach called us to come in, I felt bad, but likely I had no mouth guard so I was excited.

While I was watching my team play Otra Scorpion I saw a lot of mistakes, overlaps and missed tackles. As soon as the Otara Scorpions started trying against us I just wanted to get the sub on the field. So our manager grabbed me a mouth guard from the club.  As soon as the second half started I played second row.

When it was full time we got badly beaten by Otara 50-0. Our coach told us that he has nothing else to say because every time we are at training we don’t listen and play around that’s why we lost to Otara.

My Mothers Day Descriptive Writing

Mothers are important to their children because they look after us so our future can be better. Mothers are the best parents to rely on for your daily life, they are also the bright and shining star of your life.

My mother is the an young looking women.  She is an memorable lady who I will never forget in life.  When I am in trouble she is always beside me trying to calm me down.  My Mum has short blonde hair and my mum’s hair smells  like a freshly bloomed rose. Everything she has done to either hurt me or make me angry I will always forgive her and always forget what she has done. Her voice is like a lion roaring because she wants us to have a better future.

My mum was the one who had inspired me to become a great mathematics person. Whenever my mum says something nice to me it will always make my day complete.  I will never forget the great things she has done for me.
